A Knitting Road Trip

tIn May of 2007, Marsha and I boarded a chartered bus and made our way from Lansing, Michigan to Inverhuron, Ontario--home of Philosopher's Wool.

We left Lansing at 8am, with stops in Flint and Port Huron to pick up other excited knitters (who also got to sleep later than we did, dang it!). Marsha won the first door prize (yay!), and after crossing the Canadian border we watched a video on knitting two-handed fair isle.

Our first stop was Goderich, ON for lunch on Lake Huron. So pretty... See?

We got a tour of the Philosopher's Farm, and I made a little video of the sheep talking to us.

I'm making the Striped Shawl, and Marsha grabbed a "Clueless" sweater pattern.
